形态描述
体高，侧扁，长椭圆形，背部狭窄，腹面钝圆。吻钝。两颌前端各具圆锥齿6枚，臼齿3—4列。体被薄栉鳞；颊部与头顶部均具鳞。侧线完全，弧形，与背缘平行，背鳍鳍棘部与鳍条部相连；胸鳍尖长；腹鳍胸位。生活时腹、臀鳍及尾鳍下叶黄色。
